Book Description
Interior designer Mary Lomen shows, with many illustrations and instructional diagrams, the beautiful art of wheat weaving. There are step-by-step instructions for many wheat dolly projects including several beautiful Christmas ornaments. Illuminating the home with wheat dollies is a delightful age-old custom which has become a popular decorating motif in the United States. These beautiful, all-natural, hand-crafted ornaments have been used for countless centuries, and they are found in homes throughout the world. As living works of art they are especially esteemed by many Europeans, who traditionally decorate their homes with these symbols of health, happiness, and good fortune.
