About the Author
France Royer and Richard Dickinson have been working together since 1989. Richard graduated from the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. in Physical Geography, while France is a self-taught photographer. Together they operate a botanical and photographic service company.
France lives in Edmonton, while Richard now lives in Toronto. When they are not working, they both enjoy travelling and exploring the diverse plant habitats of Canada.
France and Richard have previously written Wildflowers of Edmonton and Central Alberta and Wildflowers of Calgary and Southern Alberta, volumes that describe the rich variety of flowering plants in the region. They have a number of other writing projects in the works.
