Compact Handbook of Computational Biology
Editorial Reviews
Book Description
As computational methods continue to be used in biological research, this interdisciplinary handbook emerges as the first of its scale and caliber to systematically describe foundational concepts, techniques, and challenges distinctive to biomolecular sequence analysis, biopolymer structure analysis and prediction, as well as genomic analysis and evolution. This comprehensive book covers terminology, software, and applications of computational biology with academic-level precision. It provides clearly written yet authoritative descriptions of methods and practical examples of their use supported by over 975 scholarly works cited.
About the Author
