About the Author
Charles Griffiths is an Associate Professor and former head of the Zoology Department, UCT, and author of over 100 scientific papers and three other field guides.
Dr Mike Picker is a Senior Lecturer in the Zoology Department, UCT, with vast field experience in insect natural history. He publishes and undertakes consultation work on insect diversity and ecology.
Alan Weaving, now retired, is an entomologist who worked for many years at the Albany Museum in Grahamstown. He is also a keen photographer of natural history subjects and has had many of his photographs published in a wide range of media.
