"This volume of Methods in Enzymology brings up-to-date the new techniques in the measurement of eicosanoids, the application of molecular biological techniques to eicosanoids, the application of molecular biological techniques to eicosanoid research, and the developments in the study of the action and formation of eicosanoids in cell and tissue systems. The authors are to be commended for bringing together such a truly outstanding compendium, with top-rate articles by most of the leading scientists in the field. The book provides detailed information about individual aspects of eicosanoid research while, at the same time, encompassing the great breadth of the area.
